The Valiance Coaching Institute is a cohort-based coach training program that delivers both the theoretical framework and the supervised practical experience required to earn the CBWP designation. Every cohort runs for 12 weeks with 20 students, delivered fully online with a curriculum of vetted coaches along the way.
Weeks 1–5
Core Curriculum
Coaching fundamentals, behavioral wellness frameworks, ethics, session structure, and the psychology of change.
Weeks 6–10
Practicum Sessions
Supervised recorded coaching sessions with peer cohort members, reviewed and evaluated by the lead instructor.
Week 11
Competency Assessment
Structured evaluation of coaching skills against CBWP competency standards.
Week 12
Capstone & Certification
Final review, personalized feedback, and formal award of the CBWP designation.

About the Founder
Psychology-backed coaching education, built on real-world experience.
Ryan W. McClellan, MS is the founder of Valiance Coaching Institute, the designer of the CBWP curriculum, and the lead instructor for the founding cohort.
He holds an MS in Marketing and a BA in Organizational Psychology from Florida International University, and brings 18 years of cross-industry experience in marketing, consulting, and behavioral science.
His 17 years of active involvement in Miami's behavioral health and peer-support community give him firsthand insight into what psychology graduates need, and what their future clients are looking for.
